Westward Ho is a beautiful seaside village near Bideford
in North Devon. Its name comes from a novel Westward Ho
by Charles Kingsley which was based in nearby Bideford.
Westward Ho has 2 miles of sandy beach known as the golden
bay and it is famous for its Pebble Reach. At Westward Ho

there is also the Tarka Trail nearby- excellent for cyclists
and walkers. Some interesting facts include the Royal North
Devon Golf course is the oldest course in England and Wales
and Rudyard Kipling lived there for several years whilst
